Let Them Be Guided
As the year began, I had so many resolutions. One of them was to have guided thoughts or rather disciplined thoughts. By these I mean, I want to only think about honorable, admirable, pleasing thoughts. I therefore vowed to shoo away any thoughts of fear, anger, disgust for people and demeaning thoughts for thine own self. I pulled down any that tried to go against these set of guidelines that I had. I was very intentional in my exercise.
I've probably have said a million times that as a man thinketh so is he. I firmly believe that thoughts are like a realm that manifests into the physical in a very powerful way. In many situations in my life, I have thought myself into victory: the best phrase is probably imagined. Yes! Yes! You are sitting on a too great weapon. Imagine it as much as you are doing it too!
This year I have had the opportunity to be on great platforms and address great audiences. but as this was a surprise and unforeseen blessing to many of my friends and close family members, I had lived these moments in my mind so many times before. I had seen myself address them already, months before anything came to be. Once an honorable thought crosses your mind do not ignore it. Take a moment to just delve in it. Only good thoughts thoughđź‘€ because the reverse of this is also true, once you wallow in pessimism that will reflect in your life. I saw myself doing so many things that I've done and I'm yet to do. Some thoughts seemed too big and far out of reach, but they still came to be. So, I affirm you, have guided thoughts meaning see yourself doing it over and over again and it will come to be.
Filter those thoughts, let them be disciplined, see yourself and imagine imagine and imagine. Let your imagination be the playground for the fruitful, beautiful stuff that God has spoken to you about.
PS: Let the Holy Spirit guide those thoughts.
